The last couple weeks have seen good fishing for most days. We had a couple days in late July where the fishing was a little slower, however, once we found the new spot it was great fishing again. The last two days the fishing picked up considerably again and there are many 20 plus Chinook to be had. We are using 7 inch Tomic plugs as you will find large Pilchards in many of the Chinook and Coho. The 7 inch plugs keep away the small fish and let you just focus on the large Chinook which is what everybody likes! We are catching
Halibut was slow for a few days but has picked up as well. The size is ranging from12-25 lbs. Spots are changing on a daily basis but include the Wreck and Big Bank. Big Bank is a great place to get all your fish in one spot right now.

The BIG Chinook(Kings) have continued in very good numbers. Again, every day we are expecting to have most of our catch being 20lb plus Chinook. If you are looking for 20 plus fish and lots of them, now is the time to come. We are using mostly 6” and 7” Tomic plugs. We are fishing South Bank mostly, though there are smaller salmon in other areas with a few bigger ones mixed in.
We are catching Halibut in a few different spots and doing well on the troll. The size is ranging from12-50 lbs, though I prefer the halibut under 30 lbs if possible. Spots are changing on a daily basis but include Outside Light, the Wreck and Big Bank.
More pictures are still to come!

The BIG Chinook(Kings) have arrived in very good numbers. Every day we are expecting to have most of our catch being 20lb plus Chinook. If you are looking for 20 plus fish and lots of them, now is the time to come. Tomic plugs are working well along with 4-inch Silver Horde spoons and hutchies. Coho are out in good numbers as well and we are expecting a good summer for many Coho.
