Fishing Charters for Campbell River on Vancouver Island B.C.

Campbell River is midway up Vancouver Island. Also dubbed salmon capital of the world, it has been known to produce great numbers of fish, though recently the stocks of salmon have declined here.

The fishing in Campbell River usually starts picking up here halfway through June though it tends to be variable. The main target is chinook though it is possible to get halibut while fishing at the slack tides or while trolling for chinook. The scenery of the surounding mountains make the fishing trip something to remember. You also will have a chance to see whales and much other wildlife. We don't fish Campbell River as much now since fish numbers have declined, so please ask us about other areas to fish.

Thanks for a great late September fishing trip! It was hard to believe that once we threw our lines in the fish were hooked in minutes.
