Credo #1: Dedication. Salmon Eye Charter’s guides will go the extra mile to make sure you have the best chance at getting great salmon and halibut. This means we will be well prepared before each trip with the gear and tackle necessary to give you a great time catching salmon and halibut. Our tackle, equipment and boats are kept in great condition and we have no problem spending the money for the best and latest.

Credo #2: Information sharing. Our years of experience fishing Ucluelet allows us to have a good estimate on what tackle to use each day in different areas. The Ucluelet inshore and offshore areas are some of the largest on the coast and therefore it takes years of experience to know how to fish each area well. We know that the salmon and halibut move around and will require us to try different depths and lures for different areas. We will be happy to share this information with you as we go from spot to spot to give you a richer appreciation of the area.

Credo #3: Communication. With 6 boats to serve you in a large area, our guides communicate continually to share information from boat to boat. Since fish are constantly on the move, this means you are going to have a great chance of being in the right place where the salmon and halibut are biting.

We believe that we are not on this earth just to serve our own interests and therefore donate from 15-20% of our earnings to charities around the world including Empart.

Empart has been operating for over 10 years are currently being instrumental in breaking down the class barriers in India. Even though there is no official class structure, it is still very much a reality. Most people in the west think that the Dalits are the poorest class in India, but actually there are over 800 million people poorer than the Dalits. Empart works with all classes of people to change the attitudes of the different classes as well as transforming the culture to show the people that they are of worth and value. They also have training centers for women to help them support their children. Men have no obligation to support women and children if a man decides he wants a divorce.
