Fishing Report
July 5, 2014

Chinook and Coho are have been biting well in Florencia Bay the past few days and there have been sporadic bites at Great Bear, the Red Can and Beg, and Little Beach. Halibut fishing was slow for a few days but has picked up again at Big Bank and Lighthouse Bank. We are using a variety of lures in close to shore including 3-4 inch Silver Horde and Coyote spoons and UV and glow hutchies. Florencia Bay fishing has been a blast as these Chinook will run like crazy in shallow water. Chinook alway like to dive deeper when on the line, but in shallow water they instead go just a little crazy which makes it great fun for any angler!
