Fishing Report June 17, 2025 Ucluelet.BC -Hot fishing

Chinook fishing has been hot in a few spots and it seems the squid are in very early. There are Coho around which is much earlier than normal and hopefully this is a good sign for the summer. The hotspots for Cihnook have been Wya, Fraser Rock, Flo, Great Bear and Cree. The bait is tiny and the Chinnok have been gorging themselves on small bait. The 4" gibbs spoons sseem to be working well along with white hutchies in areas with squid. There has been a couple of bites at Food but it hasn't been consistent. 

Halibut fishing has been good in many near shore spots including inside lighthouse bank, long. beach, inside south, outside south and outside light.
