Fishing Report July 17,2025 Ucluelet BC

Chinook Fishing
is is good right now for the larger Chinook in a few different spots. Some spots are more technical but when the bite is on its amazing expecially if you like catching salmon on live squid. The normal spots are catching for this time of year which are Long Beach, Outside Lighthouse Bank, Inside South, Florencia, Little Beach, and the Red Can. B arkly sound was good early July and now has fish again. Big Bank also has Chinook and can be a place to get your Chinook and Halibut together. 

Coho Fishing
has started to pick up in close to shore again. It was good in mid June but then they moved offshore again. There are lots of Coho on Big Bank .Cree, Effiingham and Beg have a few there too. 

Halibut Fishing
has been good at Big Bank, The Wreck, Outside Light, and Long Beach. Sometimes it tide dependent but most of the day you should be able to get them.  Afternoons can be slower but not always. 

Lingcod Fishing 
has been good.. Most days we are getting quite a few if we put in a few hours. Lingcod are some people's favorite white meat fish. Sometimes it slows down a bit in August so get your lingcod whiile the fishing is good.
